Wonderful Treatment
"Through the pages of the BVM we would like to extend our
heartfelt thanks to Afta Chiles and his team at the Gillingham
Grange Nursing Home for the treatment of our mother, Daphne
Alexander, received during her short living there.
Requiring nursing care we moved Mum from a residential home in
Cornwall to the 'The Grange' where, due to their diligence, they
quickly realised that problems were far moew advanced than we
realised.
Howerver the staff gave Mum a quality of life that she had not
experienced for a while- getting her to eat properly again, take
part in activities with other residents and on visits to the Garden
Centre which she loved.
During her last few days we didn't leave Mum's side and everyone
at Gillingham Grange made sure that we were all comfortable as
possible. They made sure we ate well and supplied endless tea and
the use of all facilities.
Everyone there showed care, professionalism and indeed love
towards our mother. It was easy to she was happy there and we
couldn't have wished for more during her last few weeks."
