Larchfield welcomes their new Home Manager

European Care would like to welcome Shelley Ackland-Snow as the New Manager at Larchfield Care Home in Maidenhead.

Shelley is a registered nurse with a variety of experiences in Nursing and in the Care Sector. She has had over 30yrs experience in caring for the elderly and has worked both in the NHS and in the private sector.

Previously, she has managed care homes but her most recent experiences involve working with 'Skills for Care', in the South East region carrying out training analysis in the independent care sector and identifying training needs. She has continued her professional development by attending training and conference days to update her knowledge and is also a qualified trainer and can facilitate training sessions for staff.

Shelley has lived and worked around Maidenhead, for over 30years and so is familiar with the locality and has a good contact and network within the community teams and care facilities.
