Our homes aim to offer residents all of the comfort and privacy of home with the added security of assistance and care close by.
Many of our bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and most have television and telephone points, high level power points and bedside lights.
An emergency call system is located in both the bedroom and bathroom areas of all of our rooms, so that even in the privacy of our resident's own room, a helping hand is always nearby.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own memorabilia or furniture, if they so wish, to make them feel even more at home whether relaxing alone or with friends and family. Friends and relatives are most welcome to visit and participate in some activities and outings (where appropriate).
Some of our homes feature in-house hairdressing salons and visits from manicurists, beauticians, chiropodists, opticians and other professionals. Landscaped and/or sensory gardens allow residents to enjoy nature and relax in the sun or fresh air in a safe and secure environment.
Each of our homes offer the following:
- Full range of medical and health care professionals, including doctors, specialist nurses, physiotherapist and chiropodists, as well as massage therapists and hydro-therapists.
- Activities coordinator organising a full programme of diverse activities which are person centred to be stimulating, fun and to keep mature minds young; from traditional games and readings to classical music recitals. The activities coordinator also arranges outings, often with the homes own minibus.
- In-house kitchens preparing fresh nutritious food and providing for individual dietary requirements and preferences.
- Facility to accommodate all religious services and observations.
- Resource and advice network for service users and carers.
